thanks so much, aritct!!! Hope the best for us.........

Just got the big red envelope!!So excited!!Together with the John Dickinson Scholarship!!
I'm also an intl' ...best wishes to those in RD

as highly as i think of dickinson, i dislike the games they play with admissions... they make a big deal about applying early if you need financial aid (but apparently only if you are applying under the binding program)... as good as the college might be, i will remember them for their very aggressive spin of the admissions process.

My son got in! No Merit scholarship. What are your SAT scores? Without some aid he won't be going!

The ED II notification date is in mid-February, right? Does anyone know when those letters are actually mailed out (the date)?

sorry but what's the difference between EA and ED ? which one is the one that you must go if u get in ??

Early Decision (ED) is binding---you must go if you get in. Dickinson has two ED deadlines. With Early Action (EA), you just get your decision earlier than the Regular Decision applicants--and also a little earlier than Dickinson's EDII applicants. However, EA is a non-binding application. If you get accepted with an EA application, you can still apply to other colleges--- and choose to attend any that accept you. Their site explains everything you need to know!

Make sure you check each individual college website before applying ED or EA. Some colleges do have restrictions concerning their EA and ED applications. Good Luck!
