Took SAT in October, scores not out yet. How to answer the questions?

Hi there,
As the title reads, I took the SAT for the first time this October. The scores will be out on Oct 22nd, and I’m EDing Cornell. I also signed up for the November SAT just in case. So right now I have no scores and one score report coming up.
The testing section first asks:
In addition to sending official score reports as required by colleges, do you wish to self-report scores or future test dates for any of the following standardized tests, I answer YES
Indicate all tests you wish to report. Be sure to include tests you expect to take in addition to tests you have already taken

So now I’m stuck on the scores page but I cant’ report anything because I don’t know my scores yet. How does this process work? I will send my scores to Cornell (how long does sending take again?) but what do I do with this section of the common app? Or am I supposed to wait till scores come out, report it myself, and the college receives the report later. I’m guessing this is how it’s supposed to work.

Very confused right now! Thank you so much!

If you plan on submitting your app before you receive your scores, list October as a future date, and it will not ask you for your scores. As an example:

If it won’t let you put October as a future date, it might be better to just not self report your SAT scores at all. Or you could just say that you expect to take the SAT one more time, and don’t wish to report your previous scores. They’ll receive them anyway. That does have confusion potential, though, since it makes it sound like you haven’t taken it at all. If I were you, I would just not self report, tbh.
