I took the SAT in 8th and 9th grade.

Does this look bad, and does this mean I can only take it once more?

I am shooting for around 2300

You can take the SAT’s as maaaaaaanyyyyy times as you’d like.

Most colleges want SAT/ACT scores that are no more than 3 years old. So, if an admissions office see scores from 8th and 9th grade, most likely they will disregard them.

Unless you request that your 8th grade SATs remain on your record, ETS will delete them as they know that they were used for Talent Search purposes. Both my Ds took them in 8th grade and they were no where to be found on the reports sent to colleges.

Don’t know about the 9th grade one though.

^^
Right. SAT scores for tests prior to 9th grade are not reported to colleges. 9th grade scores are.
