from what i have seen i have to go with pepperdine and loyola marymount university. lmu looks more like a country club than a college campus

In Florida:

FSU
UF
New College...then ?

Doctorb,

California-Bolt is right. UVA didn't kick him out. Apparently Poe was an excellent student, but he was also a huge gambler - and a bad one at that. He gambled away all his tuition money and fell into such debt that his rich uncle (who was paying for college) wasn't willing to pay anymore. So, he dropped out. Too bad there was no financial aid back in the early 1800's.

Also, he did burn all his furniture to keep warm. The furniture you see preserved in this old dorm room is from Poe's home in Richmond. They were donated to UVA.

tulane conquers the world! lol

FSU MBA-

Rollins>>>UF and FSU. UF and FSU are nice and all, but Rollins' architecture and lakeside setting trumps them.

^^^^Rollins has a very nice campus. It's got that small private college feel to it, so it’s hard to compare it to the large state universities. The surrounding area of Winter Park is really nice too.

olin college
cooper union
kettering university

UVA and Wake

i'm surprised chapel hill got even that many votes so far. i visited last year and i was not impressed at all. i didn't find the campus to be anything special in the least and i was expecting it to blow me away from what i've heard in the past. it wasn't ugly, it just didn't do anything for me.

and, for the record if there's an "ugliest campus" competition, umass-amherst wins

Oh, I heard that Rhode Island School of Design, and Chicago school of design have beautiful campus'. Figures, as they're both schools for design...

RISD's campus isn't anything to write home about. it looks like a slightly nicer than average part of providence and that's not saying much. thayer street where brown's located is a pretty cool part of providence though.

Jason ... Kettering? Did someone move it?! Love the school ... but I can't quite imagine that anyone would call the campus "beautiful."

Rhodes College in Memphis, my college! Also, Vanderbilt and UVA

UCLA = big?? I think not. It's one of the, if not the smallest UC campus. My vote goes for UCLA and UCSD.

Gettysburg
Elon
Bennington
Bowdoin
Middlebury
UVA
Colby
Haverford
U of Delaware
Bates

Cal poly SLO

Marist College, one of the most underrated colleges in the nation academically and athletically, probably has a nicer campus than 90% of what people are mentioning...it's right on the Hudson River, and the campus is always kept lush with no garbage in sight...also all the buildings are either new or refurbished.

Indiana- Bloomington
Wisconsin- Madison
Northwestern

Penn State UP has an amazing campus.

U of Alabama
Georgetown
Ole Miss

I find it interesting that people think that Cornell is a "most beautiful" campus. While Cornell is set in a place of spectacular natural beauty, the campus itself reminds me of UMass plopped down in the midst of Amherst College.
