Duke is in the top 20 for production of Fullbright Scholars over the past decade but I can’t seem to find that list. At any rate, the Fullbright is not that prestigious of an award as hundreds are handed out each year. Also, lots of postgraduate students win these fellowships as well which boost universities that have larger graduate programs like the University of Texas and the University of Michigan.</p>

<p>Perhaps that’s why Michigan usually leads the list when these scholarships are awarded. I guess they figured out a long time ago that it makes much more sense to devote valuable resources to awards that benefit many more students instead.</p>
