What top 20 school is known as the "easiest" relatively to transfer into? Just curious about this, I already have my list.

why dont you share your list? :)?

MIT, Chicago, Cornell, Notre Dame, Duke

UC Berkeley.

even out of state? or does that even matter for transfers?

MIT IS NOT EASY! ur trippin! and uc berk is probably for instate

Yeah, Berkeley instate is like 30%. I think OOS is somewhere around 10% which would still make it a lot easier than some of the Ivies and other elites. Also, this is just pure speculation, but the OOS applicant pool may not be as competitive as a regular elite applicant pool so even that 10%ish figure may be decieving...

Best, Cardinal :)

i never said it was, i was posting my 5 schools that i was going to apply to, read the thread before you scream at me

Well, from your list Chicago and Notre Dame are the "easiest" to transfer into at about 30% each. I believe for top 20 schools, WUSTL is probably one of the easiest to transfer into at a/b 33% last year. I'll be applying. ;)

The suggestions in this thread could change w/ the coming of the new USNWR rankings.

I hope Berkeley doesn't slip any further or my self-esteem will go down (My sense of self-worth is attached to the name of my school )

When is USNews coming out with its new list?

Sometime in September I heard around here.

If Berkeley actually goes into the top 20, I'll be a really happy man.

It comes out this month.

Oh good. I can't wait to buy the premium guide.

Brown used to have a pretty high acceptance rate, but i don't know about now.

MIT and Duke are not even close to "relatively easy" transfers, OP. Unless you believe that transfer acceptance rates under 10% are signs of friendliness.

i think johns hopkins should have a pretty high transfer rate.

Doesn't UMich have a relatively high transfer rate?

yes, but it isn't a top 20 school..

when it should be :P

nah johns hopkins is like 15%.
