Hey guys, I was thinking about possibly transferring next year.

I was curious about which schools according to their 2010 and 2009 transfer statistics have reasonable transfer rates (between 20-50%). I'm looking for top 30 universities and top 20 LACs.

I've heard of some good schools that previously had transfer rates well higher than their first-year admission statistics, but then drop sharply because people catch on. Any info would be nice, thanks!

Penn’s is around 14%, not 20%, though it is considered (along with Cornell) to be a relatively transfer friendly Ivy.

Caveat (not the user, literally the word): Transfer admit rates are almost uniformly lower than those for freshmen, so don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a backdoor in or that you’ll have an easier time. I would suggest narrowing down your search to maybe 10 schools and work from there.
