Are there any schools that are both top 10 for undergrad business and biotech?
And would any of these schools allow for a double major?

Thankyou.

just a thought. i would recommend getting your degree in biotech and going back for a masters in business. few people w/ a grad degree in business did undergrad business as well. just a thought.

you should get a degree in biomed/bio and then go back for business; or maybe minor in econ or something

that being said, JHU would be a great pick, as well as all of the Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, Duke, CMU...

UPenn-Bioengineering #5, Wharton (business) #1

stanford, berkeley, and ucsd would be good choices for biotech related majors too because of the many biotech firms and research institutes located near those schools. but with the stem cell initiative passed, almost every major research university in california will have some nice biotech research going on.

^

Stanford doesn't have undergraduate business. Best bet would be to major in Economics if you go to Stanford. Berkeley, not a bad choice. USCD also does not have undergradute business. Best best would be to do the same as Stanford, go into Economics.

Not true; the most popular major of undergrads in most MBA programs is business/economics.

Wisconsin--top bio research university in the US and top 12 business undergrad. They own the stem cell patents California will be using.

I was referring to business majors only. There are plenty of econ majors in MBA programs, but it seems superfluous to take undegrad b to take it again. I remember somebody here at Columbia MBA said few majored in business.

i was referring to biotech related majors, not business. most would argue that if you're going into the biotech business industry, it'd be better to first have a solid background of biotech, then business, rather than the other way around.

yep. thats why i suggested jhu
