Top BS's!!!!

Thanks for all of the feedback!

In order (my personal opinion)

Middlesex
SPS
Andover
Exeter
Deerfield
Choate
Groton
Tafts
Hotchkiss
Maybe Lawrenceville

LOOMIS.
LOOMIS.
LOOMIS.

everything else.
(lol, just kidding! deerfield would be somewhere.. after loomis. ;D)

I agree wit Middlesex ACCEPT i would switch Exeter and Middlesex :D

I was accepted at Taft and Berkshire and chose Berkshire. Although Berkshire isn’t as prestigious, its Math and Science Departments are as good as all of the “Ivy League” boarding schools. Our math team recently defeated Exeter, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, Choate, Andover, and a long list of other schools. We also have a class known as “Math/Science Research” in which students get the opportunity to work alongside with a College Professor or Scholar on a project related to math or science.

Our department chair also created “The Math Accelerated Track.” Because of my high GPA and class ranking (number one), I have been selected for this program. This program will allow me to take AP Physics without taking a regular Physics course. Also, I will surpass all math APs when I reach senior year (specifically, I will be taking Multi-Variable Calculus).

It really all depends what you’re looking for. While a school like Berkshire is not comparable with the Tafts and Loomis of the world, it is certainly moving up.

Hey guys what about the south!

Episcopal High School

Woodberry Forest?

Andover is a really good school. They send like more people to Ivies than Exeter if you go for that kinda thing. Also, all the teachers, campus, and facilities are really great. Everybody there is really open and welcoming. Go class of 2013!!!

Don’t forget Loomis. Great school. Down to earth. Great kids. Caring faculty

@latin55555: You can just do the common application that TABS(the association of boarding schools) has where you just copy it and give it to all the schools you apply to.

I think that Tabor is also a good school. It may not be as prestigous as other schools but what I read suggests that it has a great classes if your into oceanic studies and such.

stop putting down MX! it’s up there with HADES! did you know that the old acronym was St. Grottlesex? SPS/Groton/MX. It’s strong academically, athletically AND artistically, it’s close to Boston, and it has a strong community b/c it’s so small. Basically (though it KILLS me to say this) it’s almost exactly like Groton. they even have the same mascot and were designed by the same architecture firm.

i don’t see anybody putting middlesex down… >_>;

but yeah, middlesex, choate, and groton are waay up there, with HADES. isn’t choate more prestigious than hotchkiss, anyways ?
… okay, i’m going to get a ton of hate for that, so… whatever. freedom of speech. :)

Its not SPS, its SMS.
therre is an old story that the powers to be were deciding on school mascots…SMS won, hence the Zebras vs the Lions.

Well I got into Andover this year… Go class of 2013!!! But to me it didn’t seem very hard. So if you are open to a hard workload and have the right grades, then you should try to apply to HADES and the 10 schools organization.
