Top choice colleges?

Maybe that’s because I’m not lying.

Mine, in order (I’m just gonna ignore all the crap above :P) :

Amherst
Stanford
Brown
Duke
Smith

smith is a college

Yes, we know. If I recall correctly, Quasi’s sister teaches there.

Quasi, I’m surprised you aren’t considering Yale or Dartmouth. Both > Duke, if you ask me.

Nobody’s asking for your opinion.

That’s OK, I offer it free of charge.

No, I’m considering them, they’re just not in my top 5. Lol. My list of colleges is * huge *. Let’s see, apart from those, there’s (no order) Yale, Dartmouth, Princeton, Harvard, UChicago, Syracuse, Rollins, Ohio Wesleyan, Wellesley. And a few others that I’m too lazy to remember/log into my CommonApp and check.

Lol yeah, fokat ki advice is a totally Indian thing :stuck_out_tongue: If you don’t have it, you don’t deserve to be called Indian :P

The only problems with a huge college list are a)mailing in everything, and ensuring that all the documents reach their destinations and b)writing good essays for all!

Why can’t you mail all the stuff at once?

I will but every applicant in my school has ALWAYS had mail delivery problems. Jinxed.

Ummmm…how does the mailing work really?

Dude, it’s post! Or courier.

We send everything in at once by courier. Apparently it never goes wrong according to my GC.

You have an official GC? I get to choose my own GC :P

No, I mean you stuff all the envelopes for different universities with a copy each of the school transcripts/recs etc. in them and stuff them all into a big envelope and mail? :-/ Sorry if I sound stupid. Its my first time applying for colleges :(

Yeah, because we’ve all applied to colleges before :P

IDIOT, it’s OUR first time too, YOU KNOW.

Um, no, you don’t stuff them all into a big envelope as far as I know, you just mail the separate envelopes separately. But our school mails at the same time.

Yes, we have an official GC, but she’s not very useful. She told us during a mass meeting she had with everyone applying abroad that she wouldn’t be helping us out because she knows nothing about the process, but just to come to her with the counselor’s form when we needed it.

Haha what the heck!? I get to choose my own GC, so I’m gonna be going with the teacher I know the best. I’ll create my own school profile and all that stuff. If I go with my principal as my GC, my life will be hell - my seniors told me to avoid her like the plague -_-

You’re lucky you get to choose your own, you really are. Our GC doesn’t even KNOW us - she’s going to write our rec based on our resume. Like they can’t see what’s in our resume anyway.
