U San Diego???? I thought it was Santa Barbra that was hot???

With a couple of exceptions, the attractiveness grade is inversely correlated to the IQ of the students in that rating, Papa CHicken!

Ursinus in PA. I'm an old middle-aged woman, so my opinion may or may not be what you are looking for, but when I was touring Ursinus with my child, I was struck by how generally attractive the student body was (female AND male, so if you don't want competition, it might not be the best choice ;).

Met a Carleton graduate recently who was absolutely gorgeous, as much as she tried to hide it!

conn college.
just browse thru facebook at profile pics!

Okay - here's my standard answer on this unfortunately reoccurring question:

There are three main ways in which we tend to find other people attractive - the physical features with which they were born, the physical condition in which they keep their bodies, and the upkeep and adornment with which they enhance what they inherited. In a population of a couple thousand, the inborn physical features will pretty much mirror the general population's - no better, no worse. Highly intelligent and self-disciplined people are perhaps more likely than the general population to understand how to manage diet and exercise, and perhaps more likely to follow through on disciplined behavior, so I'd guess that both girls and guys at a more selective school might be in better shape than their counterparts at State U. Geography makes no difference in this regard. On the other hand, academic high achievers probably have higher priorities for their time than preening on high-maintenance fashion or grooming, so they may be less done-up than their counterparts at State U. "High-maintenance" is a more common cultural norm in the South, but then so is gorging on fried food, so while the South may lead on third criterion of attractiveness, it tends to trail the North on the second. But I would venture a guess that guys place a higher value on women's attire, hair, make-up, etc. than the other way around, so the lesser tendency to adorn at at an academically competitive college may impact males' assessment of females more negatively than vice-versa. So taking all that into account, the general assessment of college women by men at top LACs should be around the State U. average, while the general assessment of elite college men by women might be just slightly higher. One school vs. another? It really doesn't matter.

I know this thread is sort of a silly topic but, um, also one I've thought about. FWIW, one man's opinion: Was just up visiting Wesleyan last week and it was kind of a babe-fest. Surprised me just a little.

fratastic, you are ignorant.
And you are intolerant.

its people like you that make me look at schools with little or no greek systems.

I'm glad a person like you wouldn't come to my school.

hot girls are everywhere, not just in one region.
[/quote]
South is warm and sunny = tan girls in sundresses
North is cold and snowy = pale girls bundled in parkas who have stopped shaving

and we should be going after beautiful smart interesting girls, not super hot girls.

Good luck, Mr. Mom.

Hahaha……this takes away from the credibility of the ratings. Either that or the guys at Vassar have really low standards.
Actually, the guys at Vassar are probably all gay.

Wake Forest/Davidson/W&M all have attractive students

This is very true- visited Grinnell, Mac, Lawrence, Carleton and Beloit...all MW LAC's

Student body wasn't amazingly attractive at any of the schools...in fact it was a good deal worse than the U of I (Iowa City) where I grew up. I already have a very attractive GF, but if I didn't the whole "finding a hot girl at a LAC" could be pretty difficult.

To qoute a student from Lawrence: Yeah, we have hot girls...but they are kinda like parking spaces- the goods ones are already taken.

Dartmouth--it's an LAC really. It has a really good looking student body in a tall, WASP, outdoorsy way.

I've been told Trinity College and Connecticut College have a fine selection of hot girls.

Fratastic, are you kidding me? Have you ever even been to the Northeast? I'm from NY (not the city) but the girls around here are NOT "ugly womyn". If you're going by some stereotype you've heard, then I suggest you rethink it. We could be going by the stereotype that all southerners are inbred racists (not saying they are), but how would you like that?

Dartmouth, Bucknell, and Duke...High percentage of girls who have it all. This thread is unbelievable, BTW, but my advice is sound.

Which good schools have the best looking guys? I would say Princeton, Duke, Notre Dame, any of the top military academies, & maybe Stanford.

if you want a guys thread make your own

I thought Colgate had very attractive students.

After spending some time at Trinity- must say they are really attractive. (But they do seem the high upkeep type. Doesnt bother me any )

Definitely Vassar and Colgate,
Vassar recently became a co-ed college and has 40/60 m/f ratio, so any guy fitting who is
