TOP NON-IVY Schools

I'm Asian Indian, from NJ, middle-class male, going to be a junior at semi-competitive high school(sends approx. 10 kids to ivy/top tier schools),
and my mom only went to school until 10th grade, but my dad did college, etc.

Stats:
PSAT(220)
have not taken SAT or ACT(but on SAT practice tests I have consistently been getting over 2100)
SAT II bio-670(will be retaking)/ will also take math IIC and probably literature

unweighted GPA-3.92/weighted-4.3(straight A's throughout), school doesnt rank but I'm sure that i fall in top 5% in a class of 400
have taken max possible courseload(APs only possible from next year on-I will be taking 4)

EC's:
head of scouting on World Championship robotics team(10,11,12)-2 time champions
treasurer of french club(9,10,11,12)
president of science league(9,10,11,12)-top 10% in NJ competitors
Model UN(10,11,12)
Varsity XC/track(9,11,12)-didnt do it last yr due to serious injury
Lego Camp(teach middleschool kids how to build model robots for 3 wks during the summer)
National French Honor Society
Volunteer work(200hrs at St.Peters University hospital)

I know that u guys can more accurately chance me with my SAT/ACT scores but please chance me with the provided stats,
what are my chances at:

University of Chicago
American University
University of Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh Campus
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey--New Brunswick
Bucknell University
Johns Hopkins University

If these schools are high reaches for me what do you think I should do besides get a high score on the SAT's to improve my chances?

Thanks!

oh and one more thing. i dont know if it will help me but, i've lived in numerous places before high school(an Indian village, Bombay, Singapore, Thailand, Texas, Boston, and now NJ)

anyone, please?

your still a junior. enjoy life while you can, stop thinking about colleges! You've got a year. otherwise your just gonna be freaking like 99% of the other people on here too haha, including me. Smell the roses dude.

But if you stil want a projection:
If you get 2200+ on the SAT, 720+ on the SAT IIs, and 32+ on the ACT, then I would say you have a very good chance of getting into Chicago; American, SUNJ, Pitts, would all be safeties; Bucknell is a match, and Hopkins is a match/slight reach perhaps depending on projected yield and applicant number. American isn't really a "TOP non-ivy" honestly, I think something like Carnegie Mellon, Vandy, UMich Ann Arbor, UNC- Chapel Hill are "better" academically (very much up to discussion, but that's what I've heard) than american, SUNJ, etc. and seem to be more technology-oriented, which is what you seem to like as that is what your ECs suggest to me.

Very good extracurriculars, especially with that robotics thing- keep up the good work. And if your JUST going to be a junior how are you writing that you will continue your extracurriculars into 12th grade?

oh and again. RELAX RELAX RELAX AND friggin enjoy summer. i think we all, me included, have an unhealthy obsession nowadays with the college admissions process; we really cannot blame it on the applicant boom because 60% of the hype is our own fault.

Are you going to be in the 11th grade next year? If so, I would simply tell you to keep your grades up, keep practicing to do well on SATs, and most of all, RELAX. With your stats you shouldn't have a hard time getting into any of the places you listed.

if you got a 2200 (like your PSAT) and brought up your sat IIs those should all be within reach.

to collegekid123, i'm intending to do all the EC's that I've been doing so far in 11th and 12th grade. i'm just assuming this for the sake of making chances easier. haha, yea i guess we are too into this college admissions thing but it is what it is. i mean it gets more competitive year by year.

look at the 'top cc' college section

anyone else?
