UCSD: Safe match
All other UCs: Safe

Your stats won't keep you out of any, at the very least.

"gold metal"

Why do people keep saying "metal" and not "medal"? Am I missing something?

Laziness or just not thinking while typing. I'll do that sometimes if I'm just typing something up quickly. After all, the word "metal" is more likely to come out than "medal" if I'm just typing the words in my head.

You've definitely passed the first reading. Now, it's just a matter of your essays, interviews, and the weight of your EC's. As for the UC's, you're in, even with the competitiveness of being out of state. I take that back, if you get in to UCB out of state, then you have a good chance at any other school. The acceptance rate to UCB out of state is really low, something like 5%.
