Top Schools

Hi, I'm currently a junior, male, Asian.

I'm wondering what my chances of getting into a top school will be.

Currently, I have qualified for USAMO both my freshmen and sophomore years, with double digit scores. I have double digit scores in AIME, and pretty close to perfect in AMC 12 and 10. I also have a bunch of state math competitions. I also have a couple of local computer science competition awards, NHS, debate team, volunteering with the middle school math club.

I have all As so far, taken 6 AP courses, (all 5s), planning to take around 5 more junior year. I havn't taken the SAT yet, but I'm fairly confident that I will get 2250+.

So do I have a really good shot schools like MIT, CalTech, UPenn, HYP, etc, or are there things that I should work on?

GPA?

Besides that, everything looks to be on track.

Weighted GPA of 4.3, unweighted, probably a 4 since A’s are 4’s in my school.

Also, I’m in the top 5%, but it is a very small school of 50 students, and it is not an extremely competitive small school either.

bump bump bump =D

if you get 2250+ on your SAt’s and don’t screw up on your essays, you have a great chance at all of those schools

^ I doubt a score of 2250+ is going to help tremendously in any of those schools…

or am I overestimating elite colleges?
