Top Tier Transfer Friendly Schools

What are the best schools that are not necessarily easy to transfer to (both from 4yr universities/colleges and CCs), but are attainable and save a few spots for transfers? Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m rating the top 35 transfer possibilities.

Note: The more "very"s I use the harder it is.

  1. Princeton (doesn’t accept)
  2. Harvard (impossible)
  3. Yale (impossible)
  4. Stanford (impossible)
  5. Columbia (very very difficult)
  6. UChicago (same as Columbia)
  7. MIT (impossible)
  8. Duke (same as Columbia)
  9. Penn (very difficult, but little easier than Columbia)
  10. CalTech (impossible)
  11. Johns Hopkins (very difficult)
  12. Dartmouth (very very difficult)
  13. Northwestern (very difficult)
  14. Brown (very difficult)
  15. Cornell (difficult, easier than all ivies than a significant margin)
  16. WashU (difficult)
  17. Vanderbilt (possible, friendlier than most colleges)
  18. Rice (very difficult)
  19. Notre Dame (possible)
  20. UC Berkeley (difficult in state, very difficult OOS)
  21. Emory (possible)
  22. Georgetown (very difficult)
  23. Carnegie Mellon (very difficult)
  24. UCLA (difficult)
  25. USC (possible)
  26. UVA (very possible in state, difficult OOS)
  27. Tufts (difficult)
  28. Wake Forest (possible)
  29. UMich AnnArbor (possible in state, difficult OOS)
