<p>Chicago has the oldest and (arguably) the best program.</p>
<p>I'm also going to second what another poster said - sociology is going to be strong at any good school. In this case, rankings don't matter a much, because honestly, you'll be fine pretty much anywhere. Go for personal fit.</p>
<p>Then again, I rarely support rankings. Some of the factors used are downright irrelevant to educational quality.</p>
