I think it'll help some top students who don't want to be far away from home if we post the top (i.e. few top tier) universities in each of our individual states.

For example, I live in NC. Our top unis are:

UNC Chapel Hill
Duke University

While we have other good schools, these are the indisputable top two. You guys don't have to keep it to only two (especially if you're in a very education heavy state like Mass.), but try to keep it to a size relatively small in comparison to your state's education system (even though private universities are being counted here).

Anyone else?

I live in MD so mine are Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, and UMBC

I’d add Wake Forest and Davidson as top universities in North Carolina as well.

Texas…Rice, UT, A&M, SMU, Baylor, Trinity

new york: cornell, columbia, vassar, nyu, colgate

California: Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, USC, UCSD, Pomona College, Harvey Mudd, Cal Tech

I’m sure I’m forgetting some. We have a lot of very good universities in California.

Missouri: Wash U, Saint Louis U, Truman State, Missouri - Columbia, some others too.

Oklahoma: U Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, U Tulsa, and Oklahoma City U are probably the top 4 IMO.

Georgia: Emory, Agnes Scott, UGA, Georgia Tech
