Not true at all. I applied to 18 schools, but I didn’t have too many problems meeting my deadlines. Everything was in at least 5-7 days before January 1st. It all depends on the person.

I honestly didn’t find junior year that stressful either. Eh, study a little for SATs, a little for ACTs, do some work here and there and study for AP’s. Not bad of a year at all.

wow logic, you really stand out from the crowd. first the extra credit, then class of 13, now this.

well, I was really stressed sophomore year (hence, my username). so when I asked her questions she just sort of brushed me off, because I guess she thought a sophomore shouldn’t think so much about college. which just made it worse of course, given I had to come to CC for all my info :/

@stressedouttt: Lol not even. I just tend to have strong opinions on a number of different subjects, and I tend to express them a lot, so this happens. It’s rather normal, even at my school.

Though I don’t know how “this” makes me stand out.

Does anyone have that feeling in school like they have been “awaken”?

I just did in AP chem and found myself fully focused and listening like I been since the first few weeks of school.
This isn’t the first time it happen. It happen in freshmen year during the spring and I’m like, I feel different, renew.
Anyone have that feeling?

I usually get that feeling right after a long break XD

And it’s weird, I never thought of ECs or community involvement as being optional…I kinda just assumed they were mandatory to get into a good university. That might also be because of my school though…Everyone cares about going to a good university and everyone tries to basically hoard as many EC positions as possible. In fact our guidance counsellors all tell us to relax and enjoy high school more.
