<p>So for my common app essay i wrote about a personal trait of mine (its weird,funny, etc)</p>
<p>I was just wondering.. Should i stick with an essay that writes about the college and how you can impact it and such </p>
<p>Or stick with this unique topic. It has nothing to do with college .</p>
<p>What are ADMISSION people LOOKING FOR in an ESSAY? Can it truly be about ANYTHING?</p>
<p>I don't think it acts a disadvantage.
the admission officer from U.Penn paid a visit to my school recently and answered that it is always best to choose a topic that could reveal more about yourself.
if you feel that you have a unique topic that could make you dazzle out of all candidates
its best to go for it :)</p>
