Is there any questions on torque generally on the test, and if so, how heavily is it tested? My teacher didn’t teach me that and my book (barrons) doesn’t have anything on it but I have heard that it is on the test.
Hard to say. If you read on the College Board web site on the Physics Subject Test, it doesn’t specifically mention torque or rotational motion. However, it could be covered in the section on “Dynamics”. I could not imagine that you would see more than one problem on torque, if at all.
As @billchu2 suggested, you shouldn’t lose sleep over torque. It’s a very minor topic in the broader scope of the exam. I doubt you’ll get a question explicitly concerning torque this year, but even if there is one or two, don’t fret. The curve is still extremely generous.
