Hey guys, I was just wondering how much Rotational Motion/Circular Motion you guys have encountered recently in the SAT Physics exams. I've seen the sparknotes, but I want to know actual numbers (or at least a general idea from recent exams). Thanks a lot!

I took it last year and while I can’t provide exact numbers, there were not many questions related to circular motion and almost none related to rotational motion/dynamics. Of the few that were actually tested, almost all were conceptual.
Hope that helps.

Thanks so much! I’m going to take it in Jan, and Rotational Motion is probably my weakest section, so that’s a huge relief
Other’s opinions are also welcome :)

^I suck at rotational motion too…

Good news: it’s all multiple choice =], a lot of the stuff that I found difficult were easy to narrow down to like 2 or 3 choices. Umm, I think if you have the general idea of it, and you can easily eliminate a few choices, then solving it would be much easier. And I don’t remember there being a lot of rotational motion anyway. There was like 2-3 questions about a roller coaster ride, the usual Physics problem haha

Phew, that’s a relief, wofbharatj! And GreedisGood, haha maybe both of us will get better after AP Physics (assuming you haven’t taken it already) :)
