<p>guys, any applicant, regardless of race, with a 30 or higher will be competitive at any school. if you don't get in and have a 30 it's because you have a combination of poor/mediocre recs, poor/mediocre ECs, poor/mediocre transcript, etc.</p>

<p>unfortunately, its not that simple. an asian with a 30 act will be at the bottom of a college's priority list, while an african american with a 30 may place close to the top of the urm pool. please do not start an affirmative action debate on this</p>

no one is going to start an AA debate. anyways... making a statement like that shows that you do not understand the admissions process. you're oversimplifying the process by overemphasizing the importance of test scores.</p>
