Unfortunately I won't be able to make it down during the school year to tour Wake. But I really want to see some of the students and don't really want to just look at buildings alone. Will a summer tour still let me see a good bit if students (like, are there still a good bit of students on campus for the summer)? Thanks

There are some students on campus, although a lot less than during the school year. This is true at any college. If you need to take a summer tour, it won’t be the best option but you may be able to see some students

You’ll probably see enough of a representative sample to figure out what the students are like, although you clearly won’t see everyone. However, visiting to see the school itself will probably be beneficial!

My son toured in the middle of June. We were amazed by how much activity was going on on campus. Other schools we saw that week were dead. Not Wake. It was pretty busy.

I know a lot of people who are staying over the summer for courses, so it definitely won’t be dead. You’ll probably see a representative sample of the student body.

Just make sure to go when one of the summer school sessions are in progress. If you go between sessions, it would not seem very lively.

Summer session 1 is 5/24 - 6/29. Summer session 2 is 7/6 - 8/10. Just keep in mind it will be really hot!

alright thanks! But, I would love the heat right now haha.
