I have recently applied to Towson University and was looking up the social life on campus. I saw A LOT of negative things about the social life and the overall experience at Towson. Also I dont live instate so I was wondering if a lot of people go home on the weekends and if they do are there still things to do, such as parties????

Towson has a fantastic social life so long that you fit the social life. By this, I mean that there are A LOT of parties at Towson. My best friend goes there and I drive down on a Friday and can always expect there to be something to do. However, it’s never a guarantee if it’ll be fun.

The people at Towson are actually very diverse. There are a lot of jocks, preps, INTENSE art kids, and just regular people who are stuck somewhere in the mix. Great LGBT clubs and black student programs.

I see a lot of people go home on the weekends, but that is honestly just because all my friends live in Maryland. OOS people don’t go home that often.

You’ll definitely find your clique at Towson, but it will take some time.
