<p>I haven't received any notification yet....maybe a bad sign?</p>
<p>^ Along the same lines as I was thinking. I figure that they would try to get those who received the scholarship notifications first for those students to plan around that date. I don't know though. I'll wait a few more days (previous posters have said they come out gradually) then I'll just sulk.</p>
<p>i pretty much given up on scholarships now. x_x depressing feeling after being rejected a lot of times.</p>

Look at last years winners, way way way more than 2 from CA.</p>
<p>Today, I spoke with a ETS rep for the Toyota Community Scholarship. She said that all semifinalists should be notified of their status (finalists and non-finalists) by the end of next week (end of April/early May). And you can't ask for your status on the phone...I tried.</p>

<p>Alright, so should I have out the Ben and Jerry's now to prepare, or should I hold onto it until next week? Haha, jk. I'm still a little nervous, but after thinking about it, I've realized it's just $10,000-$20,000 :( Ah well.</p>
<p>BTW: Does anyone think that it would be a tad bit ridiculous to send a congrats letter in early May. Aren't the finalists getting together in early May? That would be pretty funny actually. You get a letter on the 6th asking you to catch a plane on the 7th.</p>
