<p>When I was tracking my application, It didn’t say a date received for the “essay” section. Does this mean that I didn’t submit my commonapp essay???</p>
<p>I'm not sure what that means... I used common app as well and it said my essay was downloaded the same date as the common app. However, the tracking still shows that I'm missing a transcript that was apparently received according to the admissions person I talked to. Does the date your common app was received show up? I would suggest calling their office to make sure. You can also review your common app online and see if the essay for some reason wasn't saved. <p>Oh, ok. I'm applying as a transfer and used the common app online, and according to the online tracking system they still haven't received my college transcript, which I sent in September. Originally they were missing my high school transcript, but someone on the adcomm emailed me about it, and when I called and spoke to her she indicated that she would have also emailed me about the college transcript if it were missing as well. I would imagine if you were missing anything they would do the same. I'd give them a call if I were you... the online tracking thing is pretty accurate, but it still says I'm missing the college transcript while an actual admissions officer says I'm not. It's frustrating, but I feel better after talking to a real person.</p>

<p>wait, I didn't submit my supplement yet but I submitted my common app to Barnard online, what is this tracking you are talknig about? Do I log on somewhere on the site?</p>
<p>Supposedly they'll send you an email that includes a PIN number, and you can go to a site and track which app materials they've received. I never personally received such an email, and was only able to get it after calling a few times. <p>Is it possible she clicked the wrong tracking link (there's one for ED, which I posted above, and another for transfer students)? I once did that and was taken to an identical screen but was unable to log in.</p>
