Are there any current Cornell students who went through this program? Is it doable with difficult courses? It sounds cool because they are offering to fund your internships!

bump. i got the fellowship too and would like to know more about it

can’t post about it myself, but my brother is a member.

he uses his fraternity’s philanthropic events as his community service for the most part and used his job on campus (6 hrs/wk) for his work.

Best program ever. they paid for transportation to his internship after freshman year, all of his travel expenses when he went to china to teach english last year, and are paying for his housing in new york city for his internship this year.

community service for thousands of dollars, that sounds like a good deal in my book

It’s awesome, I’ve used it to fund a couple of service projects I started and not to mention is helps with loans and federal work study. It seems like a lot of work compared to the other commitment programs, but I made it fun by doing all the projects I was interested in.

Sweet. Does anyone know if you can get a job as a research assistant and how likely of getting the job is?
