I’ve been assigned to the Plaza 1 apartments. Is the traditional dorm experience exceptional enough that I should transfer?

Well first off, congrats on getting in; Baylor only accepted 38% this year, and I fear it's only going to get tougher.

In regards to your question: yes, it can be. Other times, you'll wish there was nobody around you. If you're very outgoing and social, you may be able to make enough friends without living in a dorm. However, if you're a little more introverted (like me), it can be a nice plus. I met more people in one year at Brooks than I did in four years at high school lol.
