Tragic news

A member of the King's Point softball team collapsed and died yesterday.

have heard that was during softball practice. no other details, just that she collapsed during practice. How very sad

What a heartbreaking story. My D is a softballer, and I lived down the road from KP as a child.

My deepest sympathies to the young woman’s family, her team, and the entire KP family.

What heartbreaking news! From all accounts, Marisa was a talented athlete in both volleyball and softball, and a lovely young lady who had a bright future ahead of her. I know my son is quite upset. The untimely passing of one so young is hard to understand.
My deepest sympathy to her family and to all her friends and fellow mids at the academy.

Our best wishes to the family as well. This is very sad.

The UNthinkable. Nevertheless…can’t stop thinking about her, her family, the EMTs, the Mids, the faculty - we are all heartbroken. God Bless us all, but especially the Sanchez family. We will be praying for them and wishing them strength through this nightmare. And during Holy Week…days before Easter - coincidence? Maybe not for some of us.
