Tranfer to MIT (HELP Please~!! !!!)

HI

I am an Koeran International student, studying in Vancouver
I recently got accepted to UIUC, Purdue, PSU, Iowa state with scholarship offer ,etc as aerospace Engineering major

Unfortunately, I did not get accepted to MIT or any other top engineering school like MIT

I always wanted to go to MIT ever since i was quite young, or i grew up to go to this school...

but, in reality
my brain is not as bright as others (ex. no awards from math contest or any other brillliant EC)
or simply, I did not try hard enough (though I doubt it)

If I were to go to MIT or become the top Engineer in the world

Which choice would give me a better chance of getting into MIT

go to UIUC (which is still a great engineering school) and try my best?
or
go to little lower level school like Iowa State with scholarship and get high GPA (not garanteed), then try tranfering

I know MIT or any other top engineering school's tranfer acceptance is very low, but i would like to give it a shot

Please Heeelp :(
I've been thinking about this for a month
but still can't figure it out :(

To go to a good university with a good program in your field of study is a great opportunity. So don't get too focussed on transferring to MIT. Go to the school you feel fits you best (in location, diversity, support for international students, etc.). Get involved, do your best, and pursue things that interest you. You will have the chance to increase your english fluency, study different subjects, and have a college experience.
If you still want to transfer, others can probably give you more information on the specifics. But if you might find that either of the schools you have been accepted to offer you a great opportunity to get a good job and grow as a person in a place you like.

Can you provide a reason why you want to go to MIT other than prestige? A reason that's actually relevant to undergraduate students preferred.

MIT gets its true fame, like all other top universities, from its graduate schools and the intelligent students they admit. Those alumni who graduated with B.S./B.A. and did great things generally were bright and clever from the start, the universities only facilitated them.

Don't get the idea that if you don't attend MIT, you can't become the "top Engineer of the world". It's what you do at your present university, not where you attend. Unless you're going to go back to South Korea, where you came from will have little value compared to your personal accomplishments and experiences. This is absolutely true for admissions into graduate school.

In all honesty, even if you went to UIUC and got a 4.0 GPA your chances of transferring into MIT would be very weak. Its one of those schools that is ridiculous to transfer into. That being said, what is wrong with UIUC? I know its not MIT-ranked, but its considered one of the best universities in the world for engineering, and you should feel very good for getting in as an international. And if you need the MIT logo so badly, you can earn it during graduate school, when you have a better chance of getting in (plus its worth it anyways)
