Hi I recently just got an internship offer from PwC for tech consulting. They had initially asked for unofficial transcripts, which I sent; however, I just found out that 4 grades on my unofficial transcript are wrong, which affects my GPA, both on the transcript as well as the one I’ve got on my resume. I really don’t want to lose this internship, but I’m not sure if PwC requests official grades after accepting offer or as part of background checks. Should I email my recruiter or someone to tell them the mistakes in my transcript and get it out in the open or would that affect my standing with them in any way?
Just call up your recruiter and say that you found a discrepancy between your unofficial transcript and your actual academic record. If you are bringing it up, it is obvious that there was no intent to deceive, so there would be no reason for them to take adverse action toward you.
