Transcript problem

<p>Hi,
I am having a problem with my transcripts taking so long to be evaluated. I hand delivered my transcripts to my new college in July 2010. I was told the transcript offices were backed up- but that they would be evaluated by December 2010. </p>

<p>It's mid February 2011. </p>

<p>I'm about to freak out.</p>

<p>When I went in December to check on my transcript status in December, I was told that they hadn't even yet been scanned. (The girl I handed them to "didn't get around to it") So the transcript office has only really had them since December 2011. But that same unreliable girl said they should be done by February. </p>

<p>Should I panic? Does it usually take this long? Who can I complain to? Is there ANYTHING I can do to make sure they get evaluated by April of this year? Do they realize this is 2 months away from completely jeopardizing my entire life.. do they even care?</p>

<p>Sorry for the long post. Any help on this matter would be sooo appreciated.</p>

<p>You need to talk to the person who is the next step up from this “unreliable girl”. But please, don’t use that terminology when you talk about your concerns. Instead say something like, “I first gave my transcripts to Ms. Jones in September, but then I found out that they hadn’t been entered into your system until January. When can I expect the analysis to be finished?”</p>
