Transcripts by July 1st?!!?

I have two questions. First, UC Davis wants my transcripts by July 1st for transfer. I took classes in 4 community colleges. I sent in for 3 of them. the 4th college is Foothill and its quarter System. I dont get my grade for that class until like late june considering finals week STARTS June 20th, I get grade probably like Jun 27th, 28th or 29th… Thats how it is for quarter system community colleges… I do not understand how they expect me to have it in by July 1st. Or generally how anyone will get their quarter system grades in by that deadline.

My second question is, I sent in 3 college transcripts and 1 high school transcript. ONLY 1 has reached UC Davis and I filled out all their applications to be sent on Jun 6th. What if they dont reach by July 1st, will Davis resend me?

Not all colleges are the same but I’m certain quarter based CCs are given at least one more week. Transcript information online is really sketchy so I would call Admissions and ask for both questions. It would most likely result in an academic hold. At least that’s what UCLA is following.

If your college is on the quarter system then you have an extra week or two, but send the ones that aren’t quarter system in by the 1st. It takes a while for them to put things in their systems sometimes, so don’t panic. As long as you mailed them before the deadline you should be ok.

I received an email today from UCLA about the transcripts deadlines and I believe it said you’re on academic hold if you don’t get them in.
