Transcripts on CommonApp?

Hello there!
I have a quick question. When applying to schools (ie; Duke, Cornell, Penn, Dartmouth) through the CommonApp, transcripts are submitted in the school report section of the counselor recommendation, correct? There's no need to send them by mail, so long as our counselor did this? I just want to make sure, as I just thought of this after reading through their checklists again and they have school report and official transcripts listed separately. I just had a sudden moment of panic when I saw this, since winter break is coming up, and my school isn't exactly the fastest when sending transcripts.

Thanks!

Transcripts should be handled by your counselor and are usually sent electronically

If your counselor included it with the school report, you don’t need to duplicate that effort by having it sent again. But, many counselors do not include the transcript with the report. The school report form does not specifically request a transcript to be attached or uploaded. Check with your GC to be sure it was done. If not, you will, of course, still need to arrange for your transcript to be sent.

Thank you both! I checked with my counselor before, and he said that he added it on the form so hopefully I’ll be fine. Will double check with all my schools once I get my accounts to check my application status. Really appreciate it!
