Transcripts to Common App via Docufide

When I send my transcripts to common app so all the schools can see it, does that mean I don't need to individually mail them?

Also, because it's sent electronically to common app, does that mean I don't have to send it 2 weeks in advance?

Thank you!

You need to send your transcripts to each school individually through Docufide; you can’t send them to the Common App.

At least that’s how it works with my school, and we use Docufide.

But if there’s an option to send it to Common App, why would it not be okay?

Can someone explain the Common App option on Docufide to me? Is it an accepted and free alternative to sending them individually?

also, when ordering the transcripts to be send individually, theres a place to enter an application tracking number, is that my common app id?

I’m applying to Stanford, USC, and Pomona college

Thanks!

please anyone??

hi mysweetwawa - the best place to get questions like this answered quickly is either the Parchment/Docufide support boards ([Support | Parchment - College admissions predictions.](http://www.parchment.com/c/discussion/talk.php?story=11447)) or the Parchment support contact form (https://www.parchment.com/p/help/contactus.htm</a>).

Our support team and community will gladly help resolve any questions you have, this way we can make sure to post answers to questions like these in our FAQ area so future students who will have the same questions can get answers more quickly.

Regarding your question, if you had logged into Parchment and sent a transcript to Common App using your Common App ID and password before applying to those colleges via Common App, then you should not need to send a transcript to each of the Common App colleges independently. However, when in doubt, it is best to check - so you may consider going to Common App and asking if the transcript was in fact sent to each college. If you have more questions, please use the Parchment Discussion Support area, and I will make sure your questions gets answered quickly.

Thanks!

thank you!!
my Stanford application is due on November 1st, so would you recommend that I send my transcripts via Common app or would Stanford receive them if I mailed them today?
