<p>Does anyone know what the due date is for the update? Also, when is the update open and due for UCB?</p>
<p>I believe that the due date is 1/31. It was 1/31 in previous years. I don’t know about Berkeley’s update…</p>
<p>I don’t think I’ll be able to take Comp Sci Intro to Java for Irvine because the class is full at all my local colleges…can I tell them this when I update my planned courses, in additional comments or something like that? And would that have a significant effect on my application?</p>
<p>@isus39: Yes, you should absolutely tell them. That is the entire point of this update. Students, for the most part, are enrolled into classes for both Winter and Spring 2011 by January and thus know which classes they will and will not be able to take.</p>
<p>UC’s take all of this information into account. Since that class is a pre-req for your major it can’t help you that you are not taking it. However, if your grades are good and you have completed all your other pre-reqs it shouldn’t be much of an issue.</p>

I havent got any emails saying when the update will be opened. </p>
