<p>What are the stats for transferring into wharton? (# applicants, # accepted, etc)</p>
<p>I don’t know how many applied, but this year we have 25 external Wharton transfers in our transfer class. I imagine yield is very high so they probably didn’t take many more people than the number who actually came.</p>
<p>I’m one of the ~25 external Wharton transfers this year. I asked my adviser and the admissions office how many external Wharton transfer applicants there were, and for some reason they don’t like to disclose that information. Instead, they kept referring to the admission rate for the University as a whole. I heard 5% being thrown around for the external Wharton transfer acceptance rate, but I really don’t know what information it’s based on and how reliable it is.</p>
