Hi, I'm currently attending the University of Wisconsin Madison as a freshmen for engineering. I had lots of trouble through high school due to personal reasons, and I also have OCD, which is why my GPA is about only 3.6 and my ACT is only 29 composite. It has always been my dream to go to the University of Michigan Ann Arbor for Engineering for my undergrad as I was born and brought up in Michigan my whole life. Could someone who has transferred to UMich engineering please help me out? I want to know the process, the steps, the chances (because I'll be applying out of state) and also whether they will consider my high school grades and ACT or not (I do NOT want them to review that stuff).

If I take summer classes after my freshmen year, I will be done with all the prereqs for engineering except for just a single math course. I plan to apply for winter transfer, so that I could send in transcripts with my summer class grades on them, too. This way, I'd be spending 3 semesters at Uwisc and 5 at UMich. Please help me out. I NEED to get in and I've been in a depression ever since I had gotten waitlisted.
