Transfer advice?

Hey everyone! I came here last time to settle some tough times I was having here, missing my creative side and all. I think I may have found my calling in Industrial Design. Obviously Fordham is not the best place to do that, they don't even have that as a major. I was looking to transfer into RISD, but I wouldn't get any aid and I would have to pay the full tuition for four years. Fordham is costing me about $40k right now a year, all said and done. I'm undeclared but I'm taking all Physics Engineering classes. It's tough but I'm getting through it. If anyone has any ideas of what to do so I can study Industrial Design, please help! I got into Pratt with a pretty hefty scholarship last year, but I didn't go because I wasn't sure if I wanted to go into business or not. I screwed up. My mother is really mad since she'd have to pay more now that I want to transfer. Thanks a lot everyone. If I need to clarify things, please let me know!
EDIT As of now I will have no debt if I stay at Fordham for four years. I'm not that thrilled with Fordham, I could picture myself 20x or more happier in Industrial Design.

Unfortunately nobody in my immediate or extended family is artsy. They’re all engineers, preachers, salesmen, and accountants…

Hopefully you and your parents can work out the finances. I do think it’s unfortunate that decent merit aid is so hard to get for transfer students, especially since high school seniors aren’t reminded enough to choose colleges that have all the degrees they’re wavering between.

Wherever you go, you’ll be as content as you decide you’ll be. But while contentment can involve nostalgia, it never involves regret. At every “here,” go from “here.”
