Ok here goes ... I was accepted last spring as a freshman applicant. However, I was also accepted to Harvard. I chose to attend the latter. It's only been a week, but I already miss home in SoCal so much. I was wondering if I could apply again to UCLA, and if I could, how should I? I was also wondering since I haven't formally registered for classes yet if I could somehow leave Harvard and just accept an open spot at UCLA if there still is one since I heard UCLA doesn't start school until October. I hope no one will take this jokingly and understand my situation. I guess I'm just really attached to my family and SoCal.

There aren’t any.

As to your frosh status, you need to talk to someone at UCLA about this. UC schools say
I don’t want to interepret what they mean by this, you need to hear from them. Since obviously you sent in a deposit to another school is that enough to mean “enrolled”?

Sorry you need to stick it out at Harvard . Only one week is not giving Harvard a fair chance.

lol. It’s been only a week. There are so many thousands of freshman across various countries across the college experiencing the same feeling as you. It’ll pass over time as you get used to your new environment. Give it a year at least. You’re in Harvard for god’s sake.

Are you serious? You’re going to turn down Harvard just because of home sickness? How are you ever going to move out of your parents’ house?

You will regret dropping out of Harvard. I can guarantee you that much.

Okay this may be late but
Please don’t drop out.
I know you miss your family but what about the opportunities you have at Harvard?
