I just completed my freshman year at Northeastern University in Boston. I received a 3.8 GPA and am applying to transfer to ND for 2010-2011 school year. In high school I did not bother applying to Notre Dame because my grades from freshman to junior year were poor, 3.0 unweighted. I took rigorous courses in high school anyways and senior year I had a 3.8 unweighted, 4.6 weighted. I am a very involved member in my Church and community as well. Could anyone help me out on how likely admission to Notre Dame would be for me?

College GPA: 3.8
HS GPA 3.5
ACT:33

It all depends on the courses you took because ND is very picky about curriculum (they want to make sure you still graduate in four years). If you have the right classes, then your chances are very good. If you are missing more than one or two, then it will be a reach. Luckily you still have time to change things around for Spring if you didn’t know about the importance of the schedule.

There is a lot of information on what classes to take on ND’s transfer website. I also created a transfer website back in the day which will hopefully answer most of your questions. Let me know if not. [Transferring to Notre Dame](http://community.wvu.edu/~mrn006/ndtransfer/)
