Who here has transferred or wants to transfer into ND?

I am now a freshman at an average public big ten school, but I have planned on transferring to Notre Dame since I was rejected for freshman admission last year. In high school, I graduated 8/51 with a 3.9 GPA. My SAT and ACT scores were low at less than 1200 (math + reading) and 25 respectively. My first semester of college was superb with a 4.06 GPA but with only 12 credits plus 9 from high school. This semester I am taking 18 hours of classes and is going slightly worse, but my overall GPA should be at least 3.85-3.9. I have been in contact with an admissions counselor from Notre Dame since last June. I have taken all the right courses, except one math course that I dropped out of. I did very few ec's in high school or in college, and my high school recommendation letters were bad and I chose not to send any this year.

My biggest concerns are that I have no ND legacy in my family, I went to a tiny, mediocre, public high school in the middle of a cornfield, and the Catholic heritage in my family is strained. My parents are not frequent mass-goers and decided to not raise me Catholic outside of baptism or send me to a Catholic school. On the applications I put
Catholic where they asked for my religion, and the main reason why I have always wanted to go to Notre Dame is because it is Catholic and to finish my confirmation process there.

So, if you have transferred to Notre Dame or know anything about these things, what kind of a shot would I have at getting accepted as a transfer? If you have transferred, what were your stats?
