Transfer application

Can someone please help me with my transfer applications for Cornell, UC Berkeley, UVA and Umich Ann arbor?
I am a community college student in NYC and I will graduate next semester with an AS in Business Administration. My current GPA is 3.9 with two honors classes.

What do you need help with?

Will schools like UC Berkeley at $65K/year with no financial aid be affordable if you transfer?

Agree what do you need help with?

A previous post indicates that this OP can only attend these schools with a full ride.

The majority of the schools that were listed are public universities which receive their funding from their taxpayers. Non-resident fees are high. You can apply for financial aid, but as a non resident, your funds may be limited.

Berkeley is out of consideration because the State of California cannot afford to fund non-residents. You would have to pay $65,000 per year for tuition and fees.
Michigan and Virginia may have more funds for non-residents, so you can apply, but again as a transfer, their funds may be limited. Check their net price calculators NPC’s. Are you a US citizen so that you can apply for federal loans?

Have you considered looking at private universities? Or, staying in state and going to one of the SUNY/ CUNY schools?

I am also looking into Baruch college’s Zicklin school of business. It’s a great business school but it’s not known outside of New York. I am a green card holder and a resident of NY. I am looking to transfer to a very prestigious four year college as a business major. But I have to have full scholarships, I am may be able to pay upto $10k a year but not more than that.
I am also considering Cornell’s ILR program.

Hello!
I can only transfer the above mentioned schools if I receive full scholarships or at least close to that. Otherwise, I can’t afford it. I heard some students were abke to transfer to UVA from out of state with full scholarships.

I’d expand your list if you’re looking for significant FA. Berkeley should come off, as previously mentioned they don’t give aid to out of state students. Maybe UMiami, URichmond, Notre Dame, UNC?

I thought UNC Chapel Hill wouldn’t give out aid to out-of-state transfers either.

They don’t give FA to international transfers.
