Transfer Apps to Notre Dame, Georgetown

Hi guys,

I’m currently a freshman at Binghamton University (top NY state school) looking to transfer to either Notre Dame (Arts and Letters) or Georgetown (the College). I have good EC’s at my current school and a 3.92 ( rumored that under 10% of freshman get a 3.9 here). I come from a white Catholic middle class family and I applied to Georgetown (SFS) last year and got rejected. Any suggestions on how to get in/ essay tips would be wonderful :slight_smile:

hey! make sure to explain why Binghamton isn’t the best fit for you (gotta be delicate, you don’t want to look like you’re complaining about your current school) and what about Georgetown/Notre Dame appeals to you. specific programs, courses, professors etc. are worth mentioning. good luck!
