Hi everyone,

I have a kind of complicated story, but please read. Thank you!

I started college at DePaul in Chicago in the Fall of 2010. After my first quarter, my mom was diagnosed with terminal Cancer so I decided to move back home to be with her.

Back in California, I went to a local community college for one semester before transferring to Mills College, a nearby women's liberal arts college. After two semesters at Mills, my mom passed away last July.

Mills has been a great support for during this hard time, especially since it's a women's college. But now I feel as though I'm not being academically challenged enough. I'm also starting to think about grad schools and I'm thinking that a degree from a more prestigious school would be an advantage.

I currently have a 3.75 GPA at Mills. I had a 4.6 in high school and was ranked 3rd in my graduating class. My SAT scores were Critical Reading: 670, Writing: 660, and Math: 710. So I think I would be able to get into a more challenging school, but I don't know that many colleges don't accept senior transfers.

What should I do? Should I just finish at Mills? Or should I transfer to another college, even if that means having to transfer as a junior and dropping some of my credits?

Ideally, I could transfer to a great school as a senior. Do anyone know any good schools that would let me do that?

Thanks
