Transfer Back To Community College?

<p>Hi, I am a California resident, attending a out of state college. I transferred here for my junior year and I am struggling and feeling incredibly homesick. I am a biology major and I am about 1.5 - 2 years away from graduating, and am wondering would transferring back to my local community college for a year and then transfer to a local school even be an option? Would the amount of credits I have earned at my local school hurt my chances?</p>

<p>Why go back to a CC, why not just transfer to your local CA 4 yr school directly?</p>

<p>I think it is to late to apply to local schools, so cc would be my only option for one year while I apply in Nov.</p>

<p>I’d call the admissions offices of whatever school you want to transfer to and ask directly. Lots of state schools have rolling admissions for transfer students, so you might still be able to get in.</p>
