Transfer before/after gap year

HI, all. I am a rising freshman in an engineering school, and I am planning on transferring to other schools. After spring term in 2018, I am expected (required) to serve national service for two years, and therefore take 2 gap years. Because I can work on studying ahead for two years, I really want to serve two years knowing what college I will attend afterward.

My question is, am I allowed to apply for transfer for some colleges and take gap year right away? For example:

Freshman Fall in first school
Freshman Spring in second school

Get accepted to college or colleges

Take 2 gap years

Sophomore Fall in second school
Sophomore Spring in second school,
and so on.

No.

Oops. I realized I wrote it incorrectly. It would be like:

Freshman Fall in first school
Freshman Spring in first school

Get accepted to college or colleges

Take 2 gap years

Sophomore Fall in second school
Sophomore Spring in second school

and so on.

No.
Most universities don’t hold a position for you for two years. Typically a gap year is done before attending a university.
