<p>I applied and was accepted to the Gallatin school, but I am worried that this is not the right school for me. I have heard that the Gallatin degree is less respected that CAS, and I think I would be just as happy studying/earning a degree at CAS. Is it possible to transfer into CAS from Gallatin? And if so, when is it an option? I feel like I need to learn more about Gallatin and maybe give it a chance before I try to transfer, but I don't want to get "stuck" there. If I definitely cannot transfer, I will most likely not choose to attend NYU, so this is kind of a big deal for me.</p>
<p>You can transfer pretty easily after your first year, and waiting a year if definitely the best choice. You can find out more about Gallatin and talk to advisors and such.</p>
