Transfer chances to Boston College and Wake Forest

I was waitlisted at both last year. BC I never got off. I got off Wake's but had to say no for financial reasons. My parents now say they wouldn't mind paying the extra price tag for Wake. Is the fact I was waitlisted a hinderence, helpful, or no effect whatsoever? I will make it clear in Wake's application that I had to reject them for finanxial reasons

Freshman at GWU

17 credits from AP credit and other colleges

16 credits from first semester and another 15 next

Chem major and I am a pre-med

College GPA 3.68

A in Calculus II
A in Microeconomics
A in General Chemistry
B in Russian and East Europe Affairs
B+ in Philosophy

My ECs in college aren't fantastic. I am a member of GW Republicans. I think the most attractive thing I offer in terms of college ECs is that next semester I am working two 4-hour shifts at GW emergency room for a intro. to clinical research class.

high school:
3.75 unweighted
15/190 rank
680/690/700 on SAT
Founder of a Soldier Support Club as well as president of the International Culture Club

haha new thread? My answer is still the same. I think you have a good shot at both because your biggest weak point is your SAT score and since you went to a well reputed college and maintained a high GPA you should be fine. Also I don’t believe EC’s are important to college admin boards so my answer may be scewed since I am going based on pure numbers.

Thanks. Yeah, the bumping didn’t work, so I decided to create a new topic.

bumping this thread one more time

i think you have a decent shot. the waitlist i would interpret as meaning that you were a fairly competitive freshman applicant, which is good since as a soph transfer they will still look at your HS stats
