Transfer Chances to JHU, Duke, UPenn, Carnegie Melon

Hi, I'm going into my sophomore year at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and I've been thinking about transferring to a school with a more general, less engineering focused curriculum for my junior year. Do you think I have a chance at the following schools:

Johns Hopkins
Duke
U. Penn
Columbia
Carnegie Mellon
U. Maryland

With these stats:

GPA: 3.76
In EE Major: 4.0
SAT: 2170 (I could retake)
SAT IIs: Math 800, Physics 740
President of a few clubs, fairly involved

Thanks for your time,

Alex.

If there isn’t any good data on what my chances are like, can anyone provide insight into whether or not I am competitive at these schools? Is such a transfer realistic?

Doesn’t seem too bad…I did only slightly better than you on the SATs and got waitlisted at Duke transfer (still impressed at myself for this…).

I heard Duke has never denied anyone with a perfect SAT score…

Ironically, North Carolina has. I believe that kid actually sued them for it.

Thanks for the reply. Was your GPA around 3.7/3.8?

Any other opinions?
